Which cookies are strictly necessary?

These cookies are needed for the site to work and stay secure. They need no consent; their legal basis is entering into a contract and our legitimate interest (KVKK Art. 5/2-c and 5/2-f).

• NEXT_LOCALE (ours): remembers your language when you open the site in a language other than your browser's. Deleted when you close the browser.
• kh_consent (ours): remembers your cookie choice (accept or reject). Kept for 6 months.
• __cf_bm, cf_clearance (Cloudflare): Cloudflare may set these security cookies while protecting the site against bots and attacks. __cf_bm is deleted after 30 minutes of inactivity; cf_clearance records that you passed a security check.
• Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare): the security check on the quote form. It runs in your browser to tell that a person is sending the form and creates a single-use verification code.
• payload-token (ours): keeps our staff signed in to the admin panel. It is never set for visitors.

Measurement cookies (only with your consent)

These cookies measure how many people use the site and how. Their legal basis is your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1).

• _ga and cookies starting with _ga_ (Google Analytics 4, Google, USA): to tell visits apart and count them. Kept for up to 2 years. Measurement data goes to Google's servers abroad.

When you first open the site, a cookie notice appears at the bottom of the page. The “Reject” and “Accept” buttons are equal and neither is preselected. Google Analytics does not load at all until you click “Accept”.

If you withdraw your consent, Google Analytics stops loading and we delete the _ga cookies from your browser.

Cookieless visit statistics

With Umami we count which pages are opened and which links are clicked. Umami runs on our own server, uses no cookies and does not identify you.

Cookieless page-speed measurement by Cloudflare

Cloudflare adds a small script to the page to measure how fast pages load. This measurement sets no cookie and stores no identifier in your browser, so it does not depend on consent. Data of visitors in the European Union is excluded from this measurement.

Map

The Google Maps map on the contact page loads only when you click “Show the map”. From then on Google may use its own cookies, which follow Google's privacy policy.

External links

WhatsApp, social media and map links load nothing until you click them. Once you do, that service's own cookie rules apply.

How can you change your choice?

Use the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page to change your choice at any time.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary ones, parts of the site such as the language choice or the security check may not work.
