Our work
Kefken Ahşap Dekorasyon makes made-to-measure timber work such as garden and residential complex gates, terrace and garden cabinets, timber partitions that divide a space, and enclosures for outdoor air-conditioning units. Each piece is prepared to the site's measurements in our workshop in Arnavutköy and fitted by our own team.

What does a timber partition do?
A partition is a timber panel that divides a space without building a full wall. On a terrace it screens the view from the neighbours; in the garden it hides the bin or storage corner; indoors it separates the sitting area from the dining area. The gaps between slats let light and air through, so the space does not feel closed in. We set the slat spacing, height and colour by what the partition is for.
How are outdoor doors and cabinets made to last?
Rain, sun and damp rising from the ground wear an outdoor door or cabinet the most. So the timber should hold up outdoors, such as pressure-treated pine, the cabinet should be raised off the ground and the top should slope to shed water. On wide gate leaves, carrying the timber on a metal frame keeps the leaf from sagging over time. We also make garage doors; for any metalwork we bring in the right specialist and hand the door over complete. Stainless hinges, locks and other fittings should be preferred.
How does a door and cabinet job work?
- Site visit: We see the place and talk about what will be stored or hidden, or how the gate will open.
- Measurement and quote: We take measurements and quote with the model, timber and colour.
- Workshop fabrication: Frames, doors and panels are assembled in the workshop.
- Installation: The pieces are fitted on site and adjusted.
- Maintenance: After handover you can call us for paint, oil and hinge adjustment.
How do you maintain timber doors and cabinets?
For outdoor doors and cabinets, renewing the protective coat when the colour fades and checking the hinges once a year is enough. If a gate leaf starts to drag on the ground, adjusting the hinges usually solves it. We also repair doors and cabinets you already have.
Frequently asked questions
Does enclosing an air-conditioning unit in timber affect how it works?
We build a lattice enclosure with slatted front and sides that lets air through. The unit can breathe, and a door or removable panel is left for servicing.
Can a garden gate combine timber and metal?
Yes. On wide or sliding gates the frame can be metal and the visible face timber slats, which keeps the leaf from sagging.
Do you make made-to-measure cabinets for terraces?
Yes. We make cabinets with doors and shelves for terraces and gardens in our workshop, to the measurements of the space.
Can partitions be used indoors as well?
Yes. We also do indoor work such as headboard panels and slatted partitions that divide a living space.
What determines the price?
The size, the timber species, extra materials such as a metal frame, the number of doors and shelves, and the colour. We give an exact figure after the site visit and measurement.
