Terrace pergola, slatted wall and outdoor kitchen

We did the timberwork for an outdoor kitchen on a terrace. We covered the top of a metal-framed pergola with closely spaced timber slats, built a full-height wall of vertical slats behind it and faced the cabinets under the worktop with the same slats. We also laid a timber deck on the floor. Spaced slats cast shade but let the air through, which keeps the grill out of the sun.
