Timber terraces, railings and shade structures

On a sloping site with a sea view, we built timber terraces on several levels. They sit on stone retaining walls, linked by timber steps, with cross-braced railings along the edges. Over part of the terraces we built shade structures, and on one a roofed gazebo. Every level of the slope has a flat place to sit.
